You MUST have a qualifying test score for DYS regardless of the portfolio.
Cdfox that must be so frustrating! I'm fearful of ending up in a similar predicament. I didn't mention it in my post but my DS does have qualifying WISC scores(and qualifying subtests on WIAT and WJ... but not enough subtests were given for DYS). Perhaps I shouldn't have assumed that was understood. I'm debating whether to test further (my concerns are whether to put the extra $$ on this and whether he will even be able to show his achievement level through further testing right now.) So here I am considering if it would be easier to show ability in a portfolio.
