Well, I wish you luck. And yes, it's very frustrating with not getting the test scores. Nevertheless, I think ds7.5 will eventually get them. I used a general curriculum series (grades 1-6) last year to gather work samples for DYS based on a 2e expert's advice.

I don't know about to say about the testing. I didn't pay money for the WJ as the public schools administered the test for free, though we're homeschoolers. I don't have the money to spend thousands on private testing and our insurance will not cover the testing with a 2e expert. I might have ds 7.5 try again in the spring or next year, depending on his social/emotional state. Then again, there are other tests and it might be worthwhile to wait with him. I wouldn't be surprised if ds did better with the SAT in a year or so.

A lot of the testing depends on the tester and testee on the day at this age. It depends on the social/emotional maturity of the testee, their confidence, whether they have performance and/or test anxiety, any 2e issues that impede the test, and the list can go on and on.
