Hi there! Just found this forum (fantastic!) and had better introduce myself and family
I'm 24, live in rural NSW Australiawith my husband and am the proud mother of a bright energetic 1 year old daughter.
We knew from the start that she was a 'bit different' right from the start, she refused to follow any of the 'most babies' guidelines and met milestones early. She was walking well at 8 months for eg.
What brought me here was this last week she has been fighting her only day sleep, dragging it out 4 hours past her normal time and totally ruining the flimsy sleeping pattern she had! When I mentioned it in the mothers forum I usually visit, I was flamed and told I was being cruel and was going to ruin my child??? So it was time to seek out people who might understand a child who doesn't fit the usual boxes!
