Last year I wanted to make a knitted or sewed teaset for my daughter for Christmas. I didn't do it last year. This year I decided to knit dishcloths so I could learn how to knit a pattern. Somehow the diamond shape pattern I was trying to knit came out to make a rainbow shape- twice! I think it's similar to how they knit those rosettes they put on the headbands. When I rolled the Rainbow up it made like a tobagan shape, but too small for anybody's head. Since I had it in two colors now (from two attempts at a dishcloth) I sewed them togeather with yarn to make the top and bottom of a teapot. It's not the hottest but I know two kids who will play with it!
