My latest is finally getting around to publishing an
e-book for gifted middle and high schoolers about study skills . I tried the route of submitting it to print publishers but was told to write it for a more broad market (i.e. - not gear it solely toward gifted kids in the top few percentiles so it would have a larger audience). It wasn't really where I wanted to go with it b/c that wasn't who I felt needed what I wanted to write so I sat on it for a while and then finally just decided to publish it as an e-book.
My older daughter was feeling camera shy but my youngest agreed to be my cover model if I helped her straighten her hair for the picture
. I will eventually convince the kiddo that having curly hair like mom is not a bad thing!
