I really appreciate everyone's thoughts and insight. All of her teacher's have adored her. She is introverted at school. She is doing fantastic with her schoolwork, I just have my mom-radar going off that something isn't right.
Which is why I pulled out the old test scores. I called the original tester this morning to inquire about some achievement testing. We haven't ever gone through the district. My kids always have good grades so they never listened to me with my son. We did testing outside on our own.
I know all 3 of my kids always "let down" at home too. One of my boys has a working memory deficit. My older son, had vision therapy. I have an appointment for my daughter to be evaluated next week for vision therapy. Hopefully, it will be something else I can rule out.
She has had a lot of anxiety but not about the schoolwork. Internal, things that to most of us don't matter. When she has one of her tantrums they last a long time. She just recently completed interactive metronome and her tantrums have are much better. I don't know that it is because of the metronome but it is the only thing I have to go on. We did the metronome for my son with the working memory. She tested my other two, because they begged to try it. My older son, didn't need it, he was in the superior range. My daughter was really low and actually her scores were far worse than my son who I arranged the therapy for! My daughter is very uncoordinated.
