I think we may be fine with all of those concepts. He just isn't a very strong reader at this point. He is at about a mid kinder level. I just spoke to the principal..I asked these questions but not in this order
1. I understand kinder takes the test over 4 sessions ( EJ is taking in 2 sessions). Will there be a break for the restroom/water?
2. can he have a water bottle
3 where is the test taking place
4 will there be distractions (ppl walking in and out)
5 how soon do we know the results
6 after we sign in in the office where do we go
7 after the results can we conference on his needs for next year (either way)

I was happy with the answers. He has met and spoken with EJ. EJ has met both the kinder teacher and my dd's first grade teacher and they all recommended to go with testing. If he doesn't qualify (I am still unsure about reading), they will do acceleration for math
