I think mine took it over two days in Kindergarten so I don't think it would be a problem. You might want to explain how the test works to him. Let him know when he answers a question correctly, the next question will be harder so eventually he'll get to a question that he doesn't know the answer. This gives the teachers information about what he's ready to learn next. Is he comfortable using a mouse and computer?

P.S. Ask him to remember the number that pops on the screen at the end of the test. This will be the RIT score and you can check the percentile using this link:
