How embarrassing. I tried the heart meditation but I looked down to my heart and really felt like I couldn't accurately find it through the new, improved, extra thick Mamma "skin". (ok. Weight, -whatever !). So I thought, well... Are you supposed to look towards your heart. I've heard the yoga teacher say, "bow your head slightly to still your mind" during certain poses before. Er, were you supposed to look actaully at your heart? Should I imagine looking straight down from the bottom of my eyes, that would probably get closer than trying to look at my heart through all my layers , (ok, fine...weight) from the outside.

So, I started doing this "couch to 5k" using a timer and a jogging stroller at the playground rather than waiting at the picnic tables while the boy played. My hubby has a funny schedule we follow so rather than commit to certain days I printed a cute footprints chart and vowed to fill in a pair until I fill in all 75. I'm using a timer rather than distance. I think I can find my heart now, if it's that thing that feels like a heart attack.

This walk/jog/walk/jog might give me strength without hurting too much.
(7th pair of footprints tonight in just over 2 weeks!)
