I too would be very interested in the subtest scores on the WISC. But it sounds like the bigger issue is his anxiety (which I see that you are already addressing). Will you have any opportunity to meet his first grade teacher before school starts, or at least early in the school year? Almost all primary grade teachers will be sympathetic to a child dealing with anxiety, even if they have a weaker grasp on appropriate instruction for GT students. Perhaps that would be an approach to building an alliance with the new teacher?
