Because people are gifted throughout the lifespan, and occasionally an adult finds these Gifted Issues Forums due to their own process of self-discovery (not related to a child's education or development), and since Davidson Institute for Talent Development has created an "alumni" designation for those who age out of the DYS program... I requested that the "Age or Ability Specific Forums" be expanded to contain an age category for adulthood.
A new forum was created and this is its inaugural post.
The collections on the Davidson Database have long included articles on gifted adults, such as this article,
Gifted Adults in Work.
Hoagies Gifted Education Page has a list of resources dedicated to the topic of
Gifted Adults.
Stephanie Tolan, author of "
Is It a Cheetah?", has written an insightful article on
Discovering the Gifted Ex-Child.
