    Hello,
I was hoping to get some advice from those of you who have applied for the Davidsons Young Scholars program.
I came across this fairly recently and it looks like it would be great. What are your experiences with the program? How has it helped your child?
DS8 has appropriate test scores on an individually administered IQ test but I am daunted by the rest of the application form. Can anyone give me some advice on filling it out? I am not sure, for example, on good choices for the portfolio items. Also, the discussion questions are concerning to me. How much detail is needed?
How tough is it in general to get accepted into the program?
Thank you in advance for your comments.

    aly,

If yo type "young scholars" or "DYS admission" or anything of that variety in the search box, you'll have enough answers to last a lifetime! This is a well covered topic on this board.

If you still have questions after reading ad nauseum, let us know.
