It's called www.gamestarmechanic.com and it is designed to teach kids how to develop and program their own video games. It has an apprenticeship with a mechanic to get them started and as they earn stars (credits) they are given more and more access to game controls. DS informs me it's WAY more fun than Scratch, so there you have it! Shari Mom to DS 10, DS 11, DS 13 Ability doesn't make us, Choices do!
