DS7 has stumbled across a new site and told me I should share.
It's called www.gamestarmechanic.com and it is designed to teach kids how to develop and program their own video games. It has an apprenticeship with a mechanic to get them started and as they earn stars (credits) they are given more and more access to game controls.

DS informs me it's WAY more fun than Scratch, so there you have it!

That looks great. Thanks for the site. Right now DS is into SCRATCH big time so I will hold off on showing him until he needs something new. It's great to have a stash of ideas to try and keep up with this kid.

This one has more to it than Scratch according to DS. Always on the lookout for FREE stuff to accomodate his never ending change of direction!

This looks great for my budding little game designer. Thanks a lot.
