I read about one and didn't save the link. The one I have in mind is more than just a standard picture of the table in puzzle form. This one had fun graphics and little bits of side info, at least that's how I remember it.

    Any ideas?

Funny, I just saw one at Barnes & Noble yesterday. Is this the one you were thinking of? (The online picture isn't that great, unfortunately.)

eta: I've been keeping updated coupons for a lot of educational retailers for my website and B&N does currently have 30% off any one item online if that is the one you want. The coupon code for that is X3B9M4W1CCY. It expires 11/28. B&N is in the habit of using really long coupon codes!

I can highly recommend the periodic table shower curtain on ThinkGeek -- except that DS8 had to take it off his wall after a couple weeks because it "kept him awake". smile

It's not a puzzle, but I just purchased this book as a gift for my 6 year old friend. It had a matching periodic table for the wall all folded up in the back. Cool Asian-esque illustrations.

Oh - I see these authors have a science series. Did not realize that!

Have you seen Theodore Gray's hardcover Elements book? Really lovely pictures and good information. Also available from Scholastic.

There is also a magnetic periodic table that works like a puzzle as each element can move individually. I think it is at Think Geek or Edmunds Scientific. I am def. checking out the Gray's Elements book.
