This is a rather shameless plug for the agency that my daughter works for - but also a plug for a great resource!!!

Heartland Film Festival is a non-profit based in Indianapolis. They recognize movies that capture the journey of the human spirit with their "Truly Moving Picture Award". You can find a list of outstanding family films and films that make you think here:
    http://www.trulymovingpictures.org/

For more stuff, check out the F.I.L.M. project:
    http://www.youthfilmproject.org/index.htm

This is a collaborative effort to promote learning experiences by using films and books together and then following up with activities that are inspired by the film/movie. Great homeschooling resource or family activity/enrichment resource!

Hope you all enjoy the information!

    Woe, great list. Thanks Debbie:-)
We just saw No Reservations as a family and I thought it to be an excellent, funny though sad movie.
Hope to see Becoming Jane tonight.
Again, this is a great list Debbie.

I printed it out so we can use it to pick movies. Thanks!
