Still waiting on a decision from the private preschool/k where dd is taking preschool, to see if she will be allowed into k.
The principal is very nice, at least surface-wise, but she doesn't always spell out what is going on, or send an update if things change. Of course she's very busy, and I mean that sincerely, but I just get so CURIOUS as to what the heck is going on...why it's taking so long to figure this out.
First it was this and then that little thing they had to look into. The big thing still seems to be getting an ok from someone (?) to have a younger kid in the class. But they are trying to get dd into the k class for a visit, to see her interact; I think they had her in once but she might have seemed 'shy'. Like that is not normal for 4 and 5 year old girls.
I was afraid she'd be too bossy/pushy so shy actually seems ok. Anyway, now I am just trying not to make a pest of myself with the school. Have given up on the other school, it really was too far. Hope this one comes through!!

    Best Wishes chris 1234!
I hate to wait. How long has it been since you have gotten an update.

Did you end the last conversation with a 'and around when do you think I should hear back from you?'

I love to do that because then when you bug the person again, they have to act all grateful to you for 'helping' them by getting back to them, instead of put off by the constant contact.

Good luck! I hope you guys figure it out! We're waiting right not for a number of things to fall into place before we decide if DD will do preschool or not next year. It's hard being patient.

Yes, patience is NOT my thing!! We are also still waiting to hear from math/science elementary program to see if a spot opens for ds, so I go back and forth pacing about the two.
Grinity, I tried but I think both will only be resolved come Sept 6th!!

((hugs@ chris1234)) Sept will be here in the blink of a eye. A slow motion blink of a sandy eye, maybe....

Had to chuckle today as one of the preschool teachers asked if I had found out anything/any decision had been made. I said not that I know about; and I explained that I'm not gonna ask again -- so if she finds out anything she will let me know! ;D
