Hi, I would love to find other California Homeschoolers. I am in Southern California in the OC.

We're between San Fran and Sacramento. DS6 will be starting CAVA this year so we're starting to experiment with the idea of homeschooling.

CourtneyB, I'd love to hear what you think of CAVA after you try it out.

So far we're pleased - of course it hasn't started yet but we did get all the 1st grade curriculum and supplies (most of which will go back after he is assessed by the teacher, but oh well, lol).

I'll try to remember to post about it after a few months once we really get into it at the right grade level at least. I'll have one doing K at the local school and one doing 1st with CAVA so it will be interesting to say the least.
