    Twinkle Toes-

Got her tested on the PPVT, by a women in our homeschool co-op who has her PHD in education. She tested her with form A, but she started way to low and got bored and quite answering, so she tested her again with form B, and tarted at a higher level, and DD still got bored because she went way high, but she ceiling out. Scored 160....scores go up to 160.
Apparently the PPVT scores correlat highly with the WPPSI and WISC. So, going with that for now, and on what the educational specialist and her ped said. We are going to wait till she is a little older for more testing, but them educational specialist I know waid she could administer what ever test we chose to use which is good.

Oh I here yall all on the dictionary style definitions...that is what she wants. And if you don't give it to her, she tells you "No, I mean the real answer to my question." LOL.

I have to say thanks for the recommendation for the scholastic disctionary. The timing was great. The school my mom works at was having a scholastic book fair, and she snagged me one. we haven't gotten it et, but didn't cost me anything...so yea! LOL.

I love this board, it's great to hear about other children doing the same strange things that mine does :-)

My son left the dictionary in the bathroom and would read it while going to the potty. Sometimes he would forget why he was there and just be reading.
