I don't think so although I have limited experience. When dd#1 took the Explore in 4th grade, they came within the 4-6 week period we were told they would. I can't remember if it was closer to 4 or 6, though.

The problem is, that your kids did so well, that they need to double check those amazing scores! LOL

Obviously, it is a good thing my family is going on vacation next week. Otherwise, I would be running to the mailbox every day....

    oh well....

If I was in your shoes I'd have someone get my mail and fax the results. I'm very impatient.

I better go organize a closet to keep my mind off this.

Called customer service. Not very helpful at all. She said that they take 6-8 weeks. I asked why the paperwork we recieved said 4-6 weeks and she said it must be a "misprint". Unbelievable. She said they will be mailed "soon" but couldn't give any more info as to when.
Well, I know that I will stay away from this test again. Next up, SAT. Maybe they will be better.

Some of my friends kids took the ACT. They had results in 2 weeks. I don't get it either. Like I said before, it is computerized scoring. Shouldn't take this long at all.

And it would be nice to have a set date. I could deal with that. But to tell me that the info they mailed me was wrong and I have to wait another 2 weeks is ridiculous!

I just got an email from CTD(this is Northwestern University) about their spring classes. Deadline for signup is March 15th.

Now, if I felt like yanking someones chain, I'd call and say I was really interested in signing up my child, but don't want to spend the money without knowing the Explore results. whistle

    Just an idea.... grin

Great idea! Not that it will help. At least now I know not to check my mail box until next week.
