Hi, I am pretty new here. We had a full neuropsycholocial done on DD at 4 years 5 months (November). We had her assessed because I was identified as having a learning disability (probably E2) and struggled throughout my schooling. So, we wanted to get a full understanding of where she was before starting school in the fall.

    Here are her numbers:

    Verbal - 141
    information - 18
    vocabulary - 17
    word reasoning - 15
    (comprehension - 15)
    Performance - 146
    block design - 18
    matrix reasoning - 16
    picture concepts - 18
    Processing Speed - 122
    (symbol search - 16)
    coding - 12
    General Language Composite - 147
    rec. vocabulary - 18
    picture naming - 18
    Full Scale - 144

Do I worry about her processing speed, being considerably lower then the other areas? Coding is the subtest she is required to copy symbols, right?

Those are very nice well rounded scores. They remind me of DS5 WPPSI profile smile I think 122 is a very nice processing speed for a gifted child. It it lower than the rest but keep in mind that it's still 93% so quite high.

My children have similar processing speed and I don't think it's any bottleneck. Coding requires drawing with a pencil which by itself is reason enough to see lower (closer to average) score. At least that's what we were told.

The coding did bring the FSIQ lower. Her GAI is over 150 though.

    Nice scores, really.

Thanks. That is what I was thinking.
