    If he learns better with computer than let him use the computer. At the end it really doesn't matter how he learned it. What matters is the knowledge itself.

    We use CyberEd (Life Science), Powerspeak, Kidspiration, and Brain POP as part of our curriculum. Both DS5 and DS7 play games outside of school hours. All of the games/programs are educational, such as history, math, chess, encyclopedias, etc. They've gained a lot from those.

    I guess I think of what generation we are in. Our kids will use computers in ways we can't even imagine so why not start now. And computers, if using a good program, are at least interactive as opposed to TV which is very passive. Just my two cents smile
