I have one kid and the months get fuzzy, especially the first 18 months. Maybe I should have kept a baby book but it isn't my thing and a lot of the things tied to gifted that Ruf talks about you wouldn't necessarily record in a book.

Without any real planning involved, I set up a repeating reminder on my calendar that simply prompted, "What's DS/DD up to today?" These pop up every six months (used to be every quarter as infants/toddlers).

This turned out to be extremely helpful when completing the DYS application and answering Q's from docs about milestones.

Great idea! I just set a reminder for once a month so I only need to write a sentence or two and don't feel overwhelmed. Thanks for that tip!

I'm in the 3 kids in 4 years camp too, and like to think that's it .... to be honest I was always ditzy:) Have fun recording newer Moms.
