HI, My DD13 meets the qualifications for DYS. On the WISC-IV she had a FSIQ of 139, a GAI of 146, and one of the other scores that are accepted at a 142. She took the ACT on the June test date after 6th grade with a 23 English, 23 math, 30 reading, 25 science, and a 25 composite. She will take it again in Dec. but I plan to apply before than. She has such a drive that the school is not realizing since it is her first year. They are slowly testing her to go from 7th grade advanced math (pre-alg) to 8th grade advanced math (algebra) though independently she completed algebra 1 in the 6th grade.
Do you think she is a good applicant?
