listed below are the DYS IQ tests that they accepts
I'm not sure I will have a choice, but if I did which one should I reccomend the tester do? Should I just let her choose because that would be what she is most comfortable with?

INDIVIDUALLY ADMINISTERED IQ TESTS Test Name Minimum Score Guidelines
    Stanford-Binet-V or Stanford-Binet-IV (SB-V or SB-IV) Standard score 145+ (99.9th percentile):
    Verbal, Non-Verbal or Full Scale
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-IV (WISC-IV) Standard score 145+ (99.9th percentile) Verbal Comprehension, Perceptual Reasoning, General Ability Index (GAI), or Full Scale
Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence III (WPPSI-III) Standard score 150+ (99.9th percentile):
    Verbal, Performance or Full Scale
Woodcock-Johnson Cognitive Battery-III (WJ-III Cog) Standard score 150+ (99.9th percentile) General Intellectual Ability
Differential Abilities Scale-II (DAS-II) Standard Score 145+ (99.9th percentile) General Conceptual Ability, Verbal Ability, or Nonverbal Reasoning

I'm not an expert at all (and please correct me if I'm wrong) It depends on the childs age and what tests the tester has. For my DD6 he used a WISC-IV and also used some of the Stanford-Binet sub-tests because she was hitting ceilings so he wanted to double check the results. So I'm going to guess and say let the tester choose.

    From http://www.gifteddevelopment.com/PDF_files/How%20to%20Use%20the%20New%20IQ%20Tests.pdf

In selecting an instrument to use for assessing the gifted, it is necessary to keep in mind that the WISC-IV and the SB5 identify different students as gifted. As 30% of the WISC-IV measures abstract verbal reasoning, compared to 10% of the SB5, the WISC-IV is likely to find more highly verbal children. As 20% of the SB5 measures mathematically gifted children, compared to 0 10% of the WISC-IV (depending if Arithmetic, an optional test, is administered), the SB5 is likely to find more mathematically gifted children. While 20% of each test is devoted to the measurement of visual-spatial abilities, there may be more visual-spatial content in the SB5, so it may be preferable for locating spatially gifted children.

The tester who tested my ds said that WISC-IV was the better test for getting into DYS along with the WIAT-II. So, those ar the test that we went with since she is the expert. However, after reading Sittin Pretty's post I am wondering if he should have taken the SB5? He is 7 (2nd grader) and doing 5th grade math with Abeka (if it where Saxon he would probably be doing 7/8).

    alexfamtx,
I agree with your tester. (and my psychologist who tested my DS8.) Like your son, math is my son's strength. He is in 4th grade, but he is doing Algebra I in 7/8th grade class during his math time at school. We thought the SB5 was better choice for him, but he could not quite make it to the DYS qualifying score. (His Nonverbal IQ 144 was the highest.) The psychologist said that WISC-IV often offers "better results" if you are considering applying for programs like DYS, so he tested him using a WISC-IV. Well, he got VCI 148.
