    Hi,

I'm new and I have a flashing envelope next to the My Stuff header. I have tried clicking on it but it will not open.

Will someone please tell me what to do?

    Thank you.

That would be your personal messages. I'm not sure why you cannot click on it unless maybe you can't if you have no pms yet maybe??

Many of us find it flashes all the time, regardless of whether we have new messages. Just try to ignore it!

If you have the permanantly flashing enveope and no PMs, contact the administrator, Mark Dlugosz:

    Welcome CSlattery,
    Good Advice Kriston!

So, beyond the envelope question - what other questions do you have? (Actually start a new topic, because there won't be much action here)

Mine flashes all the time and, while I do have pms in it, none of them are "new." I've read and responded to all of them and the most recent response came about a week ago. Should I be pming the admin as well?

How about knowing if there are updates on the threads you've replied to? On other msgs boards I frequent, there is a user control panel where you see that info.

Yup, I'd recommend letting Mark know, Cricket.

You can check "Active Topics" at the top of the page for different ways to check threads, and you can mark threads as ones you want to watch by checking near (but not at) the top of the page under "Topic Options," then selecting "Add topic to your watched topics."

I don't know of any automatic listing of updates to a thread that you posted on here, but I'm not an expert...
