    How much for the IQ test? If that is the question, we live in suburbia and ours was either $300 or $350. We are not in a major city. I assume that if you include an achievement test or others it would be more.

    I am not sure what tests she will be doing (My son goes in Friday). I do know she is doing the WISC-IV and also looking for stealth dyslexia. The charge is $1500. I was just wondering if that was high, low, average, or what.

    When calling I got ranges from $75 to $2000 depending on the qualifications of the tester and the extent of the testing. We settled with an ed.psych for $250 who did the SB-V. I didn't need a Ph.D doing a huge range of diagnosis- just testing.

    LEP = licensed educational psychologist

    We recently had my DD7 undergo a full psychoeducational evaluation. There was about 7 hours of testing, but we were concerned about behavioral issues as well and included things like screening for anxiety, OCD and ADHD. The total cost was right around $2000.

    Many people in my area pay for a private psychologist to do the WISC IV to get their kids into the public school GT program and that typically costs about $300-$400. Here it must be done by a licensed psychologist or else the school will not accept the results.

    We are taking DS6 to the Gifted Development Center this summer to be tested by Dr Silverman. Estimated cost is between 1500-1800.

    We paid $150.00 for our testing.I have a good friend that has a PhD from Harvard and he only charges between $350.00 and $500.00 for a basic testing.

    We paid $500 in suburbia for a PhD pscyhologist to do ours -which included ADHD, general behavior, EPPG attention test, and WSCII IV. I think maybe he was being nice giving us a package at a reasonable amount?
