thanks *smiles*
glad i'm not alone.
I have to share one more example. When he was either 2 or 2 and a half, I checked the "Hooked on Phonics Level 1" from the library. Anyway, he wouln't read any of the books, so I thought, well he doesn't want to, i guess he's not ready. I really don't want to push him. The day i was puting it all back in the box to take it back to the library he said
" no, open it!" I said
"No, you don't want to read" he said
"yes I do!" I said no you don't, you wouldn't read any of these books for me, you don't want to read. He said,
"Yes I do!" i said,
"Okay, read this book to me then" I handed him the first book which has only 2 or three 3 letter words per page.
He read the entire book cover to cover. I was amazed. and no he didn't do it again. I didn't work with him with reading again and forgot about it, until after he was three and started reading things out of no where.
