I hope I did the quote thing right... DS loves big words. One instance stands out to me. We were in a Lakeshore Learning store and he was around 3. He was looking at a pile of stuffed animals (he has so many that there isn't always room in his bed for HIM!) I heard him announce, in a very loud voice "Mama, I'm going to tentatively choose this one!" Everyone in the store stopped to stare... "How old IS he?" Geez. If I hear that one more time...

How cute... and at least he used it right. My DS5, at about age 3, told everyone that something (can't remember what) was ignoring him. He meant annoying. wink

And note to self: get Capt Underpants books.

    Thanks again!

DS6 ran into a similar stiuation because of a December B'day. The school district wouldn't budge on early admittance. So we homeschooled for a year. I put him in a play based pre-k two days a week and the rest of the week we played school. It worked out great for us and I loved it!
There is another thread on here about homeschooling that has a ton of info, it was a couple of weeks ago. Can someone post the link for her?

    Wow -
Did you know that the Davidson Academy has a forum like this one?
Here's a link to their page on 'what to do with siblings'
It lists all the public and independent schools in the area.

I'll bet you could do some networking there also...
