    Dear Tooth Fairy,

Today I lost my bottom tooth, it fell out on the playground. Now I can't find it, but I did lose it, I promise! <insert picture here of child with tooth flying out> I hope this letter works for you. Sincerely.....

He then asked me to sign it because he thought the tooth fairy would like the backing of his mom. My FDS9 asked him if he really believed in the tooth fairy. His reply "I choose to believe". I just thought it was funny how DS6 applied his reasoning skills to the tooth fairy!

Ha! Mine lost his front tooth a few days ago, and was ruminating about how he hoped the tooth fairy would leave him $200-- when I said, "not gonna happen, my friend," he said, "Aha! if the tooth fairy were not, in fact, you, then you wouldn't feel so strongly about it!"

At $200 a tooth, my DS6 would start removing them with pliers. I once gave our now DS16 $5.00, and my DW thought he would start pulling teeth.

I'd remove my own teeth with pliers for $200 a pop.

I love that he got you to sign it. laugh I think our DS5 is a "choose to believe" kind of kid too, since it means he'll get something. The other day he wanted a new webkinz, and i told him maybe he could ask the Easter bunny. He turned to me and said "Easter Bunny, I'd like a new webkinz." I think we still have him believing in Santa though, because he and his dad took turns staying awake to catch Santa and neither one saw him. smile
