Interesting question and would love to know if high fevers can be linked to gifted. I really can't see what the link could be but I will say that my DD has been (knock on wood) a very healthy baby, but when she does run fever it is usually 104 or 105. We had a run of fevers back when she was 15 mths and could not figure out why. We even ran blood tests and came up with nothing. The only thing that was happening at the same time was she was cutting some teeth which of course doctors say does not cause high fevers but a few months before she had a high fever and cut a tooth during that time so definitely had a pattern going on. But over all she is never sick but when she has run a fever it is never 101 but over 104.
