    well....

basically since the charter school was shut down 1000 kids where dumped into our district......

1000 kids many of which can't read, write, or count.

So my son is "snark out of luck" (keep it clean folks!)

And that's what the pys. told us,

also she is looking for a job in ANY other district.

She is going to try to set something up so that he can see kids he knows from last year. I have heard this tune before.

As far as him getting work at his skill level..... I got the old line, "Just let him be a kid"

and what can i really say to her...... it's really all she has to work with at this point. She is the school psy. for 4 school and over 1000 kids, and about a quarter of those kids are living in crisis.

We are hoping that the private school works out. The private school wants to talk to us about his placement and about his 504 plan. So much for internal..........."The 504 plan is just for this school, it won't follow him" ............... yet somehow the private school found out about it without us telling them. curious? huh?
