    well, we got DSjust9's SCAT results - he tested in the 2nd/3rd grade group and got a 461 verbal (missed 2 questions) and 477 quant (missed 1 question)

    ok, now what???

    he feels really good about the results, although he did say the test wasn't at all challenging for him.

    From what I understand the Explore has to be administered by a school system, right? If so, I don't think any around here use it, but I will keep looking.

    We just might have to spring for a full on assessment...

    yeah I always thought that assessment was inaccurate, but what do I know??? I mean, she was a PROFESSIONAL! (sorry, that still rankles)

    We tested on Saturday 12/6 and got our scores today, 12/12. So, it looks like CTY is back to their usual speediness and efficiency.
