    It works out to an accumulation of an inch of water on the entire Earth's surface every 20,000 years.

    That is a lot of water over geological timespans.

    For sure!

    I was actually wondering about the fact that our bodies are made of water... and also about global warming, wondering how insulated the atmosphere gets with water coming in from comets.

    I obviously need to read up on this - it's so interesting.
