    Hello!

It occurred to me that some of the newer parents to the group might not have yet read a lot about Asynchronous Development.

So here are a few links to get you started:

    basic definition

If Gifted = Asynchronous Development, then Gifted/Special Needs = Asynchrony Squared by Lee Singer

    Enjoy!

"Having said all this, I am the one who is "many times gifted," because I have a beautiful sensitive child whose gifts lead him to see the world in creative, unexpected ways, and whose intelligence and learning disabilities help make him a sensitive and loving child, who brings me great joy and blessings."

Yes, what a beautiful quote from the Hoagie's site. (I love Hoagie's.)

    Thanks for posting these.
