Just wanted to share a time-saving discovery for the DYS application...
There was a discussion a while back about how to edit the PDF file in order to type the child's information directly on the application. Someone suggested Adobe Acrobat for this. I finally got this to work by going under Tools to the Typewriter function. This function lets you "type" like a typewriter on any line of the PDF file. Just click the mouse where you want to start typing. I had typed most of my essays into a Word document, and I found that I could cut and paste these in using the Typewriter feature as well.
I was using the Adobe Acrobat Professional version of the software. I don't know if all versions have this Typewriter feature or not. But it is wonderfully handy!!
