I downloaded DD’s genome from 23andme ($120) then uploaded the file to cogniDNA. They use AI and polygenic markers of IQ from your DNA. CogniDNA ($39) IQ came within 3 points of WISC-IV from 8 years ago. Has anyone else tried their service? Need a larger data sample.

This could be useful as a simple way to decide if you want to continue to a traditional IQ test. My kid was already in DYS. Here are the results for comparison.

    CogniDNA: 146
    WISC-IV: 143 (from 10 years ago)
    CogniDNA predicted SAT: 1566
Actual SAT: 1570 (just took a couple practice tests)

At the time of this post, 23andme genome downloads are disabled. They also accept Ancestry.com ($99). Occasionally Ancestry and 23andme have a lower sale price. They are also useful in their own right for various genetic information.

EDIT: As of 3/1/2024 23andme genome downloads re-enabled.

CogniDNA's co-founder and CEO immigrated to America on the EB-1A Extraordinary Ability visa. He obtained a PhD in computer science at Carnegie Mellon, and has been refining the algorithm for 5 years. I bet it predicts that he has a high IQ. Clearly his research has important scientific and political implications.
