    Of course they are mostly large state schools. Very few small LAC's have Engineering Programs. We looked at Engineering schools and only top elite LAC have Engineering programs. Engineering programs usually require large schools and specialized equipment.

    I did look into it and only found a few very elite LAC's have true Engineering programs.

    Is the average IQ of students at top tier schools different from the students that attend tier 2? If yes, does that matter? Do you challenge yourself more and absorb more in one or the other environment?
