After a bit of silence, you can then introduce a segue ("Oh, look over there!") How about, "Oh, look over there--a Segway!"  Ouch!

Oh, I didn't think she took offense. I thought she was "ouching" the pun! And "segue" is a great word, even spelled correctly! Very few people get that one right!  I think that was just a great, hilarious exchange. I hope Val wasn't offended! (Especially since I ran with it right along after you!) Is all okay, Val?
