Has anybody applied for DYS with a WISC score from more than 2 years ago? We never applied because we didn't have the required two tests. I know we could have submitted a portfolio with it but I really didn't know if dd's work was 2 years above grade level. I also never felt the need to be in the program but I'm seeing it may be helpful for us.

Now that they changed the criteria to only one test with a qualifying score, we can't use her WISC results because it is from 3 years ago. We recently tested dd on the WJ-IV but the scores don't qualify. We're still not sure if that is due to an undiagnosed learning disability or lack of appropriate instruction. We don't really have the budget to pay for a repeat IQ test.

You can e-mail the applications account and ask. They are usually pretty responsive.

You could certainly try -- send in the application and see. If they can't accept the scores, the worst that is likely to happen is that they will ask for more info.
