Does anyone have experience with the Ophelia Project? (It addresses relational aggression, fancy term for covert bullying.)

    http://www.opheliaproject.org

I am assisting in my DD11's Girl Scout troop this year. My assignment is psychosocial aspects (body image, peer relationships, etc.) of middle school girl development.

    Any tips or tricks?

I'd probably go with American Girl advice books and possibly follow-up with the printed page of Recommended Links from the About Us page of the Ophelia Project. American Girl books cast a wide net by touching lightly on a broad spectrum of topics.

You may wish to learn whether the school library and/or local library have any books which you may plan to use. Oftentimes, by prior arrangement, libraries will accept books and place a dedication inside, such as: "Donated by GS troop XXX, 2015".

Choosing and donating one or more books may provide a small service project, help raise awareness of the issues, and may become an item for a school newsletter, website, GS publicity or local media coverage.

Awesome, thank you! I love the idea of the service project. Last year they did a "diaper drive" and actually sewed cloth diapers--it was so cute.
