I suddenly find myself in the enviable position of having a few folks at my DCs school interested in learning more about gifted kids and how to help my kids. Does anyone have any “favorite” articles on gifted education or the gifted student (and their challenges: educational, social emotional, asynchrony, etc.)?

I’m happy to do the research myself, but know many of you out there are FAR more knowledgeable than I, or may have had success with your own schools with certain information/sources. And - why reinvent the wheel, right?

I will look at home for some of the articles we supplied when our school's principal asked.

I'd love to provide a few overview articles, and resources (links and such, and then the educators guild) for further information. I think our principal will read the docs I give her, and not much beyond, whereas the teachers I"m thinking of will go above and beyond.
