Portia, I know this is a frequent topic of interest with DS lately, and your insights are always spot on. I'm deliberating on the message I want to convey and am letting it slip out in dribs and drabs when appropriate. We had a maturity breakthrough today that I can tell you more about later.

My first thought, if you don't have black holes, do you have stars? Chicken and egg kind of thing. So if no stars, how can have life?

I agree with HowlerKarma. When I was a child I had a deep fascination with black holes, but my search into what was known was for the purpose of finding a question that nobody had answered. I tend to think that many who question black holes it is more a search to find an enigma worthy of capturing their time and attention. The ultimate questions are the ones that have yet to be answered by humanity.

The fun is in finding the answer, or in solving the riddle.
