My DD-7 has taken the CoGAT and ITBS at school (grade 2). She had a composite score of 198 (99th on both added together) which means she will be able to change to a great local program (HAG self contained) starting next year. We are very relieved!
I have been browsing the board for a while and think she may also benefit from the DYS program (local connections, seminars, etc.). I would also like more information on her strengths/weaknesses and have a more accurate reading of her IQ, etc. I know neither of the tests our school gave her will count for DYS. However, a local University offers most well known IQ and Achievement tests for $100 per hour (which we can manage if they don't take too many hours:-)! She is a pretty well rounded kid, but is a little higher in the verbal areas (9-B Verbal+ profile on CoGAT which make sense because she reads all the time). I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on which of the IQ and Achievement Tests would be the best for her and would give me the best information (that Davidson allows)? This is the list that DYS accepts:
-SB5
- WISC IV and V
- WPPSI-IV
- WJ III NU or WJ-!V Cog
- DAS-II

Wechsler III
Woodcock Johnson III NU or IV Ach
