    Hi,

My child's WISC-IV scores qualified in one testing he did, but at that time his achievement scores were just under the cut off. He tested 2 years earlier and his WISC-IV was just under but his achievement scores were over.

Is it possible to combine one test for each sitting for the application? I would need to submit the entire test report so would the scores that were below the threshold invalidate the application?

    thanks for your help!!

I would submit all of it. I think the point is that your child achieves qualifying scores and I think that they understand the possibility of fluctuations over time. I wouldn't wait too long with the two-year-old scores, though, or they may want to see something more recent. If you feel like all of the scores and your responses together do not present a very strong application, you could also consider adding some portfolio materials.

    Best of luck!!!

You need to submit all test scores from IQ and achievement tests he has taken, and at least one of the tests has to be from within the last two years. I would go ahead and submit. You might get in, or they might ask for more information. I doubt that they'll reject it out of hand, although I don't work for DITD and can't speak for them. I don't see any harm in submitting it - it doesn't take much time if you're not doing it on the basis of portfolio items.
