My son took the WPPSI-IV through school, and his FS was 117 and GAI 113. They gave me the scores over the phone, and it was like pulling teeth to get more info. I thought I was asking for his Verbal, Reasoning, etc. scores, but she gave me his raw scores for each test instead. I don't know how to interpret them.
I should say that I'm quite surprised the scores weren't higher... but apparently when asked what is the same between a glass of orange juice and a glass of milk, he thought they both had protein so that's what he answered... because of course they are both something to drink... that was too obvious so he didn't think that was the right answer.
She did say that she does expect his scores to be higher in the future... that she expects he will qualify for the gifted program... only need a 124... in the future and that he can take it again next year through school.... at the end of first grade.
Can someone help me interpret these numbers?
He turned 6 on August 5th.
