Anyone know much about this test? I think this is one of the tests I was tested on as a child. I just was looking over some of my records my mom had saved from when I was a child. Anyone know how these scores compare to scores on other tests? Just curious. I have definitly become more curious about my own testing, now that I have a child that is way ahead of where even i was as a child.

I just found this old thread as I was curious also...DS4 just took this test as part of a full battery of IQ/achievement tests...the Mccarthy and some achievement testing was in the first session, then he gets the wppsi next week. We will get the full report, of course, after both sessions, but I was trying to look up correlations and it seems to be pretty close to wppsi based on the psychologist/what I can find - which I will admit isn't much...though they seem to test somewhat different things. Anyone have any idea what the scoring means for the Mccarthy scale? How it correlates to wppsi scores? To LOGs? I know the mean and SDs are the same...but it does max out at 150. Thoughts? Thanks

Speaking of unusual tests, does anyone have information on the SOI-LA? I was given this test in 1983 - I might even have been part of the gifted norming group, I remember that our class took it as some sort of gifted research activity. My mom gave me the full report when she cleaned out her closet recently. I'm curious because the writeup - from someone who never met me - has accurately described my personality and the joys and difficulties in my whole life, based on a test response I gave when I was 10. Kinda creepy-cool. I wish I had a report like this on my kids!
