Met with the principal and math teacher, asked for one-grade subject acceleration in math, opened up the class schedule in September, and found they had done a whole grade skip, based on group achievement data. Just to remind us that it's not all hard, all the time. ...pronounced like the long vowel and first letter of the alphabet...

I was feeling a bit disheartened after talking to a well respected gifted school admissions director who dropped the famed line "well, you DD may not be so out there because around third grade children tend to even out." Thank you for sharing your success!
