Can anyone give me a ballpark on when I might expect to know if DD will be admitted to DYS? Her application & nomination went in today, and she more than qualifies based on her scores. In about a month I need to decide where we're moving to and I'm betting that's not enough time to get enrolled and actually get some educational advice, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

You should hear back from them at the end of the month following the month in which they receive all your information.

However, do make sure all your forms are in! We turned in the parent forms back in January, and just this week got an email from DYS saying they had not yet received the nominator information. Apparently their email to our nominator never made it. Second try, and they sent us an email a couple of days ago saying all of our information had been received, and we would be hearing from them next month.

Hmm, I did get emails confirming the parent approval was complete and that the nominator submitted her form, but I didn't get anything confirming the application was complete.

I applied last month and received an email confirming application was complete as soon as everything was submitted. Still haven't heard though which is making me restless anyone else who applied last month heard anything yet?

Hmm. Yes, I remember receiving an email stating that ds's application was complete.

Thanks, I emailed and it turned out we were waiting for her father to submit his approval. I didn't realize they needed approval from both of us or I'd've bugged him first. But they resent the link to him and he got it done Friday, and I did get the email saying it was complete. Now just waiting waiting waiting...
