Thanks for the ideas and keep them coming! The science curriculum at school this year is focused on biomes and habitats. This month the emphasis is on ponds, rivers and spawning salmon, next month is the polar biome, January is oceans, February is tropical forests, March is the desert, and April and May are grasslands.

    Following up on this -

I talked to the school and it is going to start next month. We've donated some science kits for ideas (biology, chemistry and crystal growing). It will be an after school activity for a small group of kids ages 6 and up.

I will let you all know how it goes.
