I was on Hoagies earlier and found an interesting list of people who have made a name for themselves and were grade skipped. I know there were some of them listed in A Nation Deceived publication, but this list was a bit longer and got me thinking.
I had an idea for a public service announcement (I know this might seem corny, but I was thinking of ways for teachers and adminstration to be informed en mass). Not sure how the logistics would work, but wouldn't it be great if people came forward and told their stories? I know grade skipping doesn't work for everyone, but if the celebrity types help promote political candidates and other causes, why not help out the gifted population? Just something to ponder...
